Scholarship Deadline Scholarship Criteria
CalCPA Peninsula Silicon Valley Chapter Scholarship September 1, 2005 —You must be a permanent resident or a US Citizen and enrolled as a full time student

—You must have a declared accounting or business as your major or shown an intent to do so by taking at least four accounting or business related courses

—You must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher

AYN Rand's 7th Annual Essay Contest September 16, 2005 —Essay MUST be on ONE of the three topics from Alas Shrugged.

—Entrant must be enrolled in a full-time college degree program at the time of entry. 

—A stapled cover sheet MUST include: name and address of entrant; entrant's e-mail address (if available); name and address of entrant's university; topic selected (1, 2 or 3 from list above); and your declared major.

—Essay must be no fewer than 1,000 and no more than 1,200 words in length, and must be typewritten and double-spaced. One entry per student, please.

—Essay must be solely the work of the entrant.

—Essay must be postmarked no later than September 16, 2005.

Chela “Go The Distance” Scholarship September 26, 2005 —be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident alien cardholder and be eligible to receive Federal Financial Aid for education at a U.S. college or university;

—be enrolled at least half time as of October 1, 2005;

—have a cumulative high school, undergraduate or graduate GPA of at least 2.0 on a 4.0 scale;

—have a valid email address in order for our database to automatically notify you that your application has been received;

—be enrolled in a distance or online degree program where at least 50% of all courses are provided online or remotely as of October 1, 2005.

Chela “Money Matters” Scholarship September 27, 2005 —be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident alien cardholder and be eligible to receive Federal Financial Aid for education at a U.S. college or university;

—be enrolled or will be enrolled at an accredited, degree-granting, two or four year U.S. college or university at least half time in the academic year 2005-2006;

—have a cumulative high school, undergraduate or graduate GPA of at least 2.0 on a 4.0 scale;

—have a valid email address in order for our database to automatically notify you that your application has been received.

2005 CCCSFAAA Student Scholarship October 7, 2005 —Attending a California community college Fall 2005

—California resident

—Remaining financial need

—Preference will be given to applicants that have overcome unusual hardships

2005-2006 HSF College Scholarship Program October 15, 2005 —Be of Hispanic heritage

—Be a U.S. Citizen or a legal permanent resident with permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551 (not expired)

—Be an undergraduate or graduate student enrolled full-time in a degree-seeking program at an accredited U.S. college or university in the U.S., Puerto Rico, or the U.S. Virgin Islands

—Have earned at least 12 undergraduate units in a U.S. accredited college or university

—Have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or 4.0 on a 5.0 scale)

—Have applied for Federal Financial Aid

Families of Freedom Scholarship Fund Varies; September 2011 (for independent students) & September 2030 (for dependent students) —dependent child or spouse of persons who were killed or are permanently disabled as a direct result of the terrorist attacks in the US on September 11, 2001
