TRIO/STAARS Courses: These courses are offered at no cost to STAARS students.

ENGL 650 ENGLISH SUPPLEMENT FOR STAARS STUDENTS

Individualized instruction in reading and writing skills for TRIO/STAARS students based on the TRIO English instructor's assessment of each student's reading and writing skills. May be repeated for credit. Open entry.

Variable credit: You can earn from 0.5 credits to 3.0 credits (depending on the amount of time you choose to spend in tutorials and other course activities)

MATH 650 MATHEMATICS SUPPLEMENT FOR STAARS STUDENTS

Individualized lessons in mathematics skills arranged and supervised in the Math Assistance Lab of the Learning Center . May be repeated for credit. Open entry.

Variable credit: You can earn from 0.5 credits to 2.0 credits (depending on the amount of time you choose to spend in tutorials and other course activities)

LSKL 801 APPLIED STUDY SKILLS ASSISTANCE

Instruction in a variety of study techniques such as note-taking, study reading, time management, taking tests, etc. Plus 1-6 lab hours/week by arrangement. Open entry. May be repeated for credit.

Variable credit: You can earn from 0.5 credits to 3.0 credits (depending on the amount of time you choose to spend in tutorials and other course activities)
